My son just started school and my husband travels a lot for work though does work the occasional Friday from home.

This means I can't start work until 9.30AM, need to leave promptly to pick him up from school at 3PM, and then give him his tea before I can resume the rest of my workday.

My employer doesn't support non-linear working hours and my best option is probably to find a part-time role.

Getting back into work is proving a challenge for me.

I've been out of work for a while, initally due to health issues, and have found job hunting difficult. I'm after a job where I have flexibility to fit in my ongoing medical appointments.

This has affected my confidence. I've a number of skills, am a hard worker and just need an opportunity to let me back into the workforce.

I previously left higher education to raise my family, and have always dreamt of getting a degree.

Now I'm an undergraduate student on a part-time course with evening classes.

I'm looking for a day job which will help fund my studies in sustainability.

Once I graduate I hope this will help me find a full time professional role where I can contribute meaningfully.

Mid 30s and recently divorced with young children meant my fulltime job was too rigid to allow me to look after the children as well as work.

Childcare is too expensive and hard to find, my parents help out when they can, so I really need a job where I can do the school run, have flexibility during the school holidays and ideally have a four day work week.

I lost my wife suddenly and with two teenagers to look after I needed flexible working accomodations at short notice.

Fortunately my employer was understanding and allowed me to work from home, and to change to non-linear work, whilst maintaining core hours.

Without the flexibility from my employer I would have had to find another job and been at risk financially.

I'm studying for an engineering degree which I'm funding partly with the help of my parents and a student loan.

I'd like a weekend and evening job to help with my living costs and to help me start saving to help return the loans.
